Is it possible that I remember that from a magazine like Motor Trend or Car & Driver back around '86?

I hope that doesn't make me responsible for that thing.

Just stopped by here to cross-post a NJ drive thread and happened to run across this. Wow!

Actually....I don't think it's all that horrible...

Kinda cool in some ways, and sooooo different from the typical 911.

If I were to buy a 911, which I think is a gorgeous model, I'd still almost want this one just because it is sooooo unique. That's just the way I am....I like my 928 cuz it's not what you see every day on the road.

Of course, Kevin (hubby -- aka "The Guy") thinks they should have melted this one (not my 928!!) down for scrap metal years ago, but I don't care, I'm still into it quite a bit. LOL.

Thanks for sharing! I'll have to come back here more often.

Default That is just plain ugly!!

That ugly thing has way more then 8.7k on the odo. Look at the pictures closely.

I am never this direct because I try and be respectful (for the most part).

Who ever built that should be shot and left for dead in front of the Pontiac Fiero Kit Car Clubs National Headquarters. Just because they kicked him out of the club, he doesn't have to come over to our side and build some monstrosity like that.

I was having such a nice calm day until I saw that.

I saw a Honda Accord a couple of weeks ago that had 'testarossa' decals on the doors. Oh yeah.

There's a theory that our taste - or lack thereof - in cars follows the strength of the economy. We tend to buy more reserved cars in conservative colors during recessionary times and the opposite during boom times.

I'm sure in 20 years time, people will look back at our big *** SUVs with 26" chrome spin jobs and laugh their asses off.
