Default After Detail Photos: 996 Aero

Between numerous track outings and my lack of time due to my regular job and detailing work on the side that 996 wasn't quite up to par for my liking. So 10 days ago I decided to put it in the garage and work on it in my spare time until it was show ready again. I finally finsihed it up on Sat and snapped a few photos.

Process:
Wash
Clay
Zaino ZAIO on wheels
Polish: Megs 105 and purple foam wool on a couple of trouble spots
Polish: Menzerna SIP (super intensive polish) on white polishing pad @ 1500rpm
Polish: Menzerna PO85RD with gray pad @ 1000-1200rpm
Polish wiht Menzerna PO85RD on blue pad @ 1000rpm
2 coats of Pinnacle Souveran paste wax

Got it done Sat and opened up the garage to complete overcast!!

Snapped a few full sun shots on Sunday to actually show off the hard work!

Andy,

Looks spectacular! Putting my car to shame! LOL It needs a bath.

BTW: sounds a lot like my once a year, multi-day mid winter ritual. Have you tried Full Metal Jacket? I am liking the results and the durability as a synthetic sealer.

Gents: Thanks all around for the compliments.

etwd: GHL mufflers and tips

Fissionx: Free. I own and operate my own mobile detailing business. This would have cost a customer $300-350 for the exterior work.

Paul: FMJ's a solid product. I'm partial to Zaino if I'm going to be using a sealant, particularly the Z5 on Reds and Dark colors....BUT nothing beats a quality Caranuba product if you're looking for amazing depth and wet look which is why I went for 2 coats of Souveran for now. Durability of the caranuba's sucks though which is why the car has sealants on it during the track season. When it's time to look good Caranuba every time.

Despite having my go-to products I'm still trying new stuff all the time...always in a quest for the latest and greatest I suppose.
