that should run her about $5500....glad you're ok and it didn't smack the engine....but that has to be the WORST feeling in the world...feeling that hit from behind and first thought....OMG...my engine just ate it.
The worst part is (like mine) it'll hit the Carfax reports and be noted as an accident and a future sale may be a bit more difficult becasue of all the negative connotation associated with any Porsche that's been in an accident....diminished value...be sure to take lots of pictures of the repair so you can show a prospective future buyer that the damage was strcitly cosmetic. I had the body show photograph every step of their repair and put that in my file. Sorry to see this happen to you partner....

That's just one very bad day. Sorry to see your cars taking a beating. I'm glad to hear everyone is well. The cars will fix. Make sure their insurance pays through the nose - the increase in their premiums will teach them a lesson.
