Default Weather was pretty good today, so I took a few more photos...

I did include the mandatory "big butt" photo, as requested, as well as a shot of the interior.

medtech has already got a list started.

Why am I getting the feeling that this whole 996 thing is going to cost me more than I originally thought?

I have to vote for the B&M short shifter first. Its an easy DIY - which help you "bond" with the machine.

Have fun!

1st off WOW ! ! Nice shots, looks great and the wheels look spaced nicely, I am a big fan of the interior and the way those graphite color pieces are in there it doens't become a "sea of mustard" as you might hear some call it.

looks like SSK and 3 spokes already, with that inside roof color some black floor mats would be a quick way to POP that and tie it together (about $120)

As for the statement... I have yet to discover the cost of ownership but I had 28 years of experiancing the cost of NOT having one............ Money is nothing compared to time lost....

ENJOY and thanks for the pics!!

(ps... get your wallet out, because it still is MONEY! )

Beautiful!! That is one thing I wish my GT3 has.. big butt! Now you do know if you lower the car some, the butt will appear bigger... which makes it beautiful-er

I actually haven't yet ordered the key and bumper plugs. I have 'em on the Cayenne, and they are on my list for the Carrera.

I plan to stop by my local dealer and pick up the upper shelf to replace the CD holder.

Not to bring up the dreaded STFF... but tell me more about the garage door opener mod, the spoiler switch mod and the top hats mod... all sound very interesting...

Nice, Dennis. When I was shopping I drove one with that interior and my first thought was, ouch...this is a bit loud but about half way through the drive I was warming and by the end, I loved it. Yours reminded me of that and I still like it!

I've done the pedals by the way and it's easy. Shifter??? I'm gonna have a look around for the garage door mod.......

Thanks everybody. A nice hand wash and wax made the paint look much better. Thanks for the mod list and the links Tim. I appreciate it.
