Andy, as someone else said about the brakes, there must be an issue.

My breaks are so touchy that if you are less than 3-5 MPH and hit the brakes, the car instantly stops so hard, you think it hit something solid.

Interesting, my friend brought the car to his Porsche mechanic cousin, who said the brakes are fine. Ever let the car out of the garage without starting it, let it roll a little, then hit the brakes, with the car OFF? That's about how the brakes felt on the 911 I drove. Now, I'm no Porsche mechanic, but I don't see how they got a clean bill of health!

Yeah, maybe it is because its a 78 and mines an 87?

The brakes shouldn't feel like that - 78 or not. The brakes were great on my 67.. there was obviously something wrong with them.
