Default Double Din Install Euro Motorspeed

Hi guys,

I have an 02 911 Carrera 2 with a single din stock stereo. I bought an Alpine W505 and bought the Euro Motorspeed Install kit. The kit did not come with instructions and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the cage mounted. There doesn't seem to be any mounting points to the car, the unit seems to sit on a metal beam which is provided and lean on the faceplate. Seems way too flimsy. Anyone have any ideas or have used this kit before? Anyone have an DIYs? or pictures of the inside?

This is the kit

I just did this with a Pioneer Avic 700. The Renntech instructions are pretty good, but there are a couple of updates with the new kit. You shouldn't have any trouble figuring out the differences. Post again if you run into trouble.

I have a question, there is a thin metal frame almost the size of the front faceplate. It's hanging around and I have no idea where to use it?

Did you bypass the parking brake?
