Parts: 0.2” smaller pulley (From 3.8” to 3.6”) Vortech part number 2A036-361 - $78.95 link - www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product.php?p=42 20mm smaller 6-rib Gatorback belt (Original part number 6PK2655) 20mm smaller belt part number 6PK2635 (can be purchased at AutoZone) link - www.goodyearep.com/productsdetail.aspx?id=3128 Notes: System must be retuned for optimal air/fuel mixture following modifications. Boost, Intake Temperature and Water Temperature gauges should be added. Water pump power should be rewired to ignition, not accessory (phone). Water pump LED should be mounted near water temperature gauge. Expected change: Dynamometer horsepower from base (445.9) to base + 33.1 (479) Dynamometer torque from base (327.3) to base + 18.9 (346.2) |

I would have a hard time boosting a 11.3:1 motor anymore than what the original kit used.
But, as long as you don't run lean, run too hot inlet temps, or detonate, it should stay together. There just isn't much margin for anything getting out of whack IMO.

How much boost AFTER the throttlebody are you getting with the 3.8" pulley? What year car is it?. Your expected change is far too high if you are tallking whp.

Have uprated other Vortech based kits. Pulley, injectors, and tune, and make sure your charge cooling can handle it as well, and your clutch, and your brakes, and your transmission, and ........
