Default Thoughts on this color combo

Haven't seen a poll in a while so I figured I'd see what your thought are on this:

Oak Green Metallic over Graphite Gray with deviating black carpets.

Plus the wood accents. Love it, hate it, neutral.

Looks very "classic", I would've gone for brown interior. It's nice, but I think it'd be hard to sell also, if you plan to keep it, I think it's rather nice.

i would have gone with savannah or natural brown interior, but the exterior colour is different and not unappealing.

The deviating black carpet really saves the inside. Normally I hate grey interiors. What cannot be saved is the wood... just wrong in a modern 911, IMHO.

The exterior just needs a pumpkindectomy and it'd be fine.

Overall score = neutral.

I like colors outside the norm (I have Orient Red). I voted neutral . . .

I like the paint color, but the interior would be vastly improved in natural brown leather.

I voted neautral... because its a unique color combo, with exception of the wood.... however, its a 4 spoke, so that would need to be changed to 3 spoke gray steering wheel.... that one mod can save the interior dramaticly.... changing the shifter and e-brake can be easily done as well.

A 3 spoke would be nice and with a silver crest would really look good.

I was thinking the carbon fiber shifter and brake handle would look bring it all together.

Anyone notice the radio? It has a tape deck in it. I've never seen that before.

I voted neutral. Actually, it looks like something I would have ordered. I like green, but Porsche's Oak Green Metallic was not one of my favorites. I also detest the cliche' tan and brown interiors with green. The wood might have worked better with tan interior, and the carbon with the greys. But, I applaud the out-of-the-box ordering. Also I would have done sport seats rather than the wrinkled leather thing.
But a fun and interesting car.
I never liked red cars with tan interiors when that ran on and on in the dealerships. The tan interior thing doesn't work well with the greens that Porsche has had in the last 30 years. This is my personal opinion. You may think otherwise, and that is why they make so many choices.

I don't dislike the green, I believe it is Rainforest Green on this early '99. The tail lights give it away as the amber was eliminated later in '99. Most owners have updated the rear lenses as it screams "earliest production of the first year". Many things were improved mid year and the amber lens on the tail lights were dropped.

I love the Graphite Grey interior with the proper color exterior, but this is not it. The wood can be icing on the cake with the right car, option packages, and color combos, but on this very spartan, lightly optioned example without full leather, painted console, colored gauges, etc., it doesn't work. It's a liability rather than an asset.

Grey interior works wonders with aluminum look and carbon accents and contrasting body colored painted console, sports seat backs and such. Wood works well with a richly appointed interior, full leather with lots of leather exclusive options where luxury rather than high performance is the domanant theme.

You asked, it's just my opinion. There's an *** for every seat.

I actually like it. Classy car and if it's for sale can't be more than $25k, so nothing to loose really.
But I'd loose the amber lights front and rear and paint the center consol to match the exterior.

The wood accents would only work if they were... oak.
