Default Part fell off my car...please help me identify what it is.

I found this under the car in the garage yesterday. My guess is that it must be part of the brakes but I'm not sure.

I know one of you experts will identify it. It's a metal strip consisting of 6 little blocks. It has 1/4 oz 7 gm stamped on each of the individual blocks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wheel weights to balance your wheels.

Look in the inside of your wheels for a clean spot. You're going to have a shake or wobble while driving.

Thanks for you're response. Any idea of what to use to put in back on? Some kind of special glue?

Thanks again,

Those are tire worms!

Actually, wheel weights as said above. I would just have them re-ballanced for good measure.

That is your IMS. Good thing it fell off before it failed inside your engine.

Took it in and had the wheels re-balanced this afternoon. The only tools I use on the car are the garden hose, wash bucket and mitt.

awe boy... we gotta teach these new guys EVERYTHING....

I have not used a hose to wash a p-car in almost 2 years. Search for Griot's waterless (spray) car wash or ONR (optimum NO RINSE) - using a hose makes a mess....all you need are some good micro fiber cloths/towels and alike along with the right cleaner. Washing can be done with less than 2 gal water and witrh the griots its like it says..... no water
