Question for cabrio owners
#16
This may be entirely coincidental, but within one week of owning my 330 cabriolet I had a hot blond, 7 years my junior, getting wild in it. Plenty of other adventures of that sort followed. So, I am going to say that not only are Cabriolets man approved, but also help you get chicks to do naughty, naughty things. So they get double plus man approved.
Incidentally, I am getting married to said blond on the 28th of this month.

with 996 prices so low, get one of each...I did. Althought the coupe is now a track car. The cab is a daily driver, love it, the morning drive to work makes my day.

I'm sorry I don't see anything "girly" about this.... But to each their own. I never thought I would own a cab but I love it and and Plus you get a nice hardtop and it looks damn close to a coupe with it on!

I have a C4S Cab and have had a boxster (cab) and an 914(cab/targa top). I will never go back to an enclosed cockpit again. I leave my top down at least 80% of the time. I take sunrise rides, smmer and winter down the coast with the top down. One thing about Porsches is that there is a Pcar for every like and dislike. There is only one thing that matters, get the car the YOU like. Don't worry about what others say. Afterall, it is your money and your car. The Cab gives the car a lot more options.

keep tops down
imho they look good as long as the top is down, i don't think i've ever seen a convertible that looks good when the top is up, on any car, just don't seem like they fit right, especially the older porsches, the plastic windows just never have looked good.

I opted for a hardtop and so concur that you can have two 911s for slightly more than just a cabriolet. I absolutely love the fact that I can leave the top down and experience the smells along the way. You miss that element with a coupe. Remember--the first Porsche was a roadster.
