K&N Cold air Intake for sale
I've got a K&N cold air intake for sale. It is complete with the heat shield, filter, all mounting pieces etc. These are going for $340 on eBay, I'm asking $250. It was installed in a car I just purchased (MK2 996). It will fit all C2 and C4s between 99 and 05.
I've also still got the GT3 coil over suspension and the PCM 2 Navigation unit if anybody's interested.
Thanks.

Hah, you guys are funny. I must've gone through a dozen Porsches, I doubt you actually want pictures of everything... Alas, here's a couple of the current 996, which is one of the best cars I've had so far, admittedly;
here it is next to one of my previous 996s:
and in case anybody's interested in the intake kit, here's a picture of that:

Glad you got them, and liked them!
With this intake, there's a fair amount more induction noise when you're at full throttle, a bit of a growl, but the tone is very similar to stock. The car feels faster, though I doubt it actually is by a significant amount. I don't know if it's fair to call this a "cold air" intake, it uses part of the factory ducting to get air from the decklid. If there's any difference in performance, it's probably more due to the free-er flowing K&N filter.
