+1 on 997-Shifter, best Mod for me as well... I did it couple of months ago and now the gear shifting has improved a lot, more precise, more direct and smoother. I should have done it a lot earlier. I did not have to adjust any of my cables as everything fell into place, lucky for me tho because I would not know how to really adjust them Like Hugh said, I did not want to go SSK due to notchiness found by some people here. I am impressed by Hugh's DIY skills, WOW did a lot of work on his car, save tons of money in the process too, great! Enjoy your beautiful car. Cheers,
