You found something that fits wide body cars? If this is true, I'd like to know more - like where you bought them. Also, I'd love to see a pic on the car when you install them.

The sizing tool in that ad shows that these will fit a Carrera, a Carrera 4, Carrera 4S or turbo. The lights that fit a NB car won't fit a WB car, so something's not right. I'm guessing they won't fit a C4S or a turbo.

So what value were the resisters, other than the working wattage? What resistance?

I just bought a set on ebay for a good price so I will find out what all this 'flashing' talk is about I guess whenever I get around to putting it on my to do list and removing one of the spouses 'to do's'. Got all winter now anyway.

From what I have found on other forums they are called LED load equalizers and are 25W each (2 needed). There are people on ebay who will sell you a little kit for a couple of bucks or you can go to radio shack and make your own up. I find the LED third brake light is over priced for what it really is and how many LED's that are in these strips, somewhere around $90 is stupid. I'm thinking of making one of those up using an old housing I have here lying around.
