Default Rear LED's Installed

About a year ago I had to replace 1 crakced OEM tailight and for as much as I was going to pay for 1 OEM replacement, I bought the LED tailights and installed them myself (needed to solder in a set of resistors to prevent hyper flash).

I can't tell you how awesome they look and how much they improve the tail of the 996. Total positive upgrade over the OEM tailights and I LOVE them. It's hard to explain but without making them look like a tricked out honda civic (believe me I hate those and all the other tricked out Fast and Furious cars) they drasticlly improve the look of the rear - making them look modern.

I will just say the pics and the video do not show how great they look at night.

The lights don't look too bad, smoked is the better choice. btw what brand of rims do you have there atx.911?

I like it too. I'd really consider it if they were available for wide body cars like the C4S or the turbo, but I don't think they are...

I would actually like to see someone make a clear and smoked housing for these with regular halogen bulbs. Just having the tail lights that are someone clearer (I think they call it crystal lights that became in fashion > 2002) would be great.

Thanks fellas, will post the yellow blinking video sometime this week. I got them from these guys - LED tail lights. I don't remember the tail lights being that expensive at the time but it's been about a year. They have red smoked and white smoked ones.

The RPK-038's rims are from WheelDynamics. I really like their new 808 series, I would have gotten those had they been out when I was looking to buy new wheels.
