Default Porsche Roads in SoCal

Hi there.

Couple friends and I are looking for nice winding canyon roads in SoCal (Orange county, Riverside county, San Bernardino county, Los Angeles county or San Diego county) for driving our Porsches. Do you know any to recommend?

Thank you very much!

The 74 from the Temecula area to Palm Springs area is great on a weekday although sometimes you get stuck behind a slower vehicle. Best road I have driven. Check out the site http://lateralg.com/ They have some ideas.
Pic of the 74.

74 from Riverside to the coast is great fun even in a rental car... or perhaps because it was a rental car.

The traffic gets brutal through there, even during the week. It is a great road if you don't have traffic, however.

It's the Hemet to Palm Springs area on the 74 I like, not Temecula. Hemet is a bit north of Temecula.

Try the Angeles Crest Highway from Silverton Lake thru the mountans thru Lake Arrowhead, Big Bear and down the back side thru Angeles Oaks to Menton to Redlands, All day trip, lunch in Big Bear, and then go back the same way. If you live in the San Fernando valley, you can start on the Pearblossom area, thru Mountain High Ski Area. This is a long trip and if anybody in your car gets carsick, this is not for the weak-hearted.

Thanks guys for the tips.
Ortega 74 was in the plan but I am affraid it is a cop watching road since it has been referred as one of the deatly ally. Hwy 18 through Lake Arrow Head and Big Bear sounds good.
Any roads in San Diego county?

The Ortega part is not good, cops and traffic. The Hemet to Coachella part is great. Saw one CHP in 6 trips.

I wouldn't try the southern border Route 98 east of San Diego for a long time. Some honda passing 12 bikes ended up causing an accident that killed 5 people. I'd like to think the roads down there are being watched pretty good for the car that didn't stop after creating the accident. I imagine more than the police are looking for the car.
