Its really not that bad. I have a front splitter with the Aerokit and I need to pay attention where I point the car......driveways, speedbumps, parking ramps...if you drive straight on I hit the splitter, if I take it at a angle I'm good to go.

pretty smooth then

I watched GT3's on the autocross where the imputs are a little more abrupt and I swear the splitter had to have hit its so close...if anthing on my cars gets that close to the ground I will know a wheel fell off

cant wait to see pics. i have the fabspeed maxflows, they are great. make sure you get the v-clamps, as the factory ones will likely snap off due to age. mine did, and I only has 19k miles on the car.

I have 235/40R18 on stock (8.0) wheels in front and I can go lock to lock without rubbing. I believe you can go up to 235 mm tires on 8.5" wheels and still not rub.

With my stock 996 bumper there was never a problem hitting it on ramps, etc.
Now that I've installed the turbo front bumper I have to watch out. Hit it several time already.
One thing I don't think anyone has mentioned is the engine protection cover. Very important to me since I've already scrapped the cover several times going up ramps. I'm surprised Gert didn't recommend it with the X74 kit.

Hopefully you'll never scrape it but if you do, you'll be VERY happy it's there!

You should have no problem with that combo as long as your wheels have the correct offsets. I have the x74 package on my 996 and I've got 235's in the front and 295's in the back with no rubbing.

Enjoy.
