Default Where to get Oil Analyst

Hello Guys
I'm about to change the oil for the 1st time in my new to me 99 C2, and would like to send a sample away for analyst. I see from doing a search a company Blackstone, is there any other some of you might suggest I use?
Thanks for the help.

I've used Blackstone Labs before and they are excellent. I would recommend them. If you call or email them, they'll send you a test kit and a mailer to send in your sample.

I've been using Blackstone for a few years. Great service. I buy in bulk, 6 tests at a time, and save a little money. I also have them do UOA's on my tranny gear lube.

getting back to the OP's question, is there an alternate to Blackstone, ideally in Canada that anyone knows of?

I've used Terry Dyson's Premium Analysis for all my cars. I think it's second to none because I get Terry's personal expertise. I haven't done a UOA in a while and I know the price has gone up.

Here is a good forum to get information about UOAs and all things oil

It was interesting to see molybdenum in such high quanties in the analysis. You don't see this in "natural" oil. I did some research and found that it is added in the event the oil's lubricity breaks down and looses lubricating properties. Interesting.
Learned from this forum once again.

Thanks for the input guys, I have ordered a test kit from Blackstone, does anyone know if I will have any issues sending oil samples back into the USA with US Custom's?

Just sent a sample to Blackstone last week from Vancouver. I sent it through Canada Post with no problems.

Dude, that's a seriously nice looking interior...probably the best one I've seen...

But that floormat on the driver side footwell is a serious FAIL...
