Nice to see autocross photos. Looks like good results as well.

I've been putting the wing up manually in my car purely for vanity. Our events here don't get nearly fast enough for it to go up automatically, though I did one weekend at a neighboring region in 2004 with 80+ peak speeds (using GPS and GPS-calibrated logger) in my car, with the top SM2 car hitting 93mph on his best run. That was an exceptional event however (not to mention unfair for low hp cars).

Wisky, what wheels do you have on your car? They look great.

Wing is up manually. Marginal decrease in rear lift. marginal increase in air flow to engine. But in autox every 10th counts. Besides, it looks better. =)

Ed, you have a beautiful car. I can't believe how clean your wheels are. How many coats of polish did that take? I can't imagine there is much clear coat left on that car.

LOL - I actually have not cleaned the wheels yet, late last year I used Rejex and rubbed till it disappeared 2 coats and about 3 dozen rags... have not toched them since... I will clean them eventually but the wheels have been off the car more than on the last few months so i just want to drive it right now.... once summer hits I'll give she a more serious cleaning, its not a concourse car, nor even close....just cleans up well

thanks for the compliments!
