I'm assuming by amberrectomy your talking about removing the yolk in the fried egg headlights as well as any other ugly orange indicators(and also what you mean by no pumpkin?)
Yes, was very glad that this was done.

Welcome! Looks nice and enjoy the ride. You just might want to leave the Audi in the driveway and make the C4 your DD.

Well, I always think the best mod for an auto enthusiast is to mod the driver.......
I've done a few rally-x,TSD's, and Audi driver schools, as well as winter driving school by Tim Oneil, I think I'd love to go to a Porsche driving school/track day - It's my understanding the 996 are drive by wire, so left foot braking???, how is heel/toe? love to learn these in the P-car in a controlled environment.

As far as mods to the car, well I will be replacing the alternator this weekend and the car came with winter tires, so some nice rubber is in the budget. Other than that modding my bank acct to keep up with the maintenance. ;o)
Maybe a short shifter???
Thinking of buying a tow vehicle and trailer for it????

What do you guys suggest?

I've been meaning to do the Tim O'Neil driving school as well, did you do it this winter? Also did an Audi DE with my old TT a few years ago and it was a blast.

Not this winter it was about 5 years ago, I actually did in my UR quattro. Tons of fun - It was also sponsored by the NE quattro club.
ther was a winter Rally X at the NH dragway Feb 9(I think). Talked to the club guys there and they said they'll be doing it every year - mostly Subaru WRX's - no P-cars :0(

well first real nice day this year so went out today and had fun with the on/off ramps saw 2 Panamara's............and a bunch of corvettes

Lookin for tires, any recommendations?

Welcome to Rennlist my fellow Audi owner (there are many of us here).. this forum is much better than Audizine/Audiworld!

I'm an Audi guy - all my cars have been Audi's except this one.

Anyways just picked up my first Porsche this weekend.
2001 C4 911 83k mi. 6-spd
The cool thing is that the last owner had it maintained by EPE in Natick, and the last maintenance was done @ 81k, so felt pretty confident in this purchase.
I really wanted a 993 C4, but trying to find a good one in my price range was impossible!

Anyways, just wanted to say Hi as I'll definitely be poking and prodding all of you guys for info regarding all things Porsche.

PS - I tried to post a pic, but didn't know what my member # was?!?!
