Default 996 CF Door Sill Mod. Experiment

So.. I have a friend who owns a graphics shop who does signs, stickers, wraps, etc. He showed me this new carbon fiber material he got with an adhesive back. Iv'e never liked my stainless steel door sills so we tried an expierment. We made a wrap for them. I am very happy with it. See photos. The cost is a fraction of what actual CF door sills would be. We cut the material slightly larger all around then trimmed with a sharp blade using the existing door sill as a guide to cut along. An exact template could eaisly be made but then one would have to get it put on exactly perfect. Any thoughts / Comments?

Although I'm not a carbon fiber fan, that looks very nice. Haven't seen you post recently, nice to see you are around. How's your Porsche doing?

Barn, The car is great. Thanks for asking. I am on here frequently but usually don't chime in unless I have something usefull to say. Had fun with this. I really like it. A friend if mine has a Lotus Elise and has alot of that CF on it. I don't want to go overboard. Keep it simple.

I live in North Central and my office used to be at Scottsdale & Frank Lloyd Wright (in the 4 story office building across from Maggiano's) I have since started my own business and have my office on 7Th. St. I don't drive may C4S everyday so you may not see me around much unless you are looking for my Jeep Liberty

Looks good. I'd be interested in seeing how it holds up with a fair amount of wear. I'm assuming it's not real CF. If it's vinyl, I'm guessing it will scuff/tear easily.
