Default Just installed my bypass pipes....WOW!!!

I love the heck out of these things. They are loud, but not as loud as I thought. Makes the engine sound so nice. Changed the fuel filter, plugs, and fresh oil change also. Next....need to change the brake fluid. This 996 has been very kind to me....also, no RMS leak either....

Not always a weekend car...and nope...had a Chevy LS1 with exhaust cutouts...so I know how to deal with them. Not near as loud as that....and I am only 40 so not that old. Muscle Car guy here....so I love to hear the engine. They actually are just a bit louder than the exhaust on my Durango 5.9 R/T. Pitch is a bit higher...but it puts me in the zone. I have no issues.

I understand these are not for everyone, but for me....perfect.

I found a set on Craigslist last year for $75
Even the seller talked me out of buying them!!!
I am glad I did not and kept my Fister Ds
But if the pipes are ok with you enjoy them as much as you can!

Mine lasted 50 miles on the car and then I had to remove them for being to loud. I am also in my 40's and all about the muscle cars. I have a Shelby GT 500 in the garage with straight pipes and love it but just did not work on the 996.

They arent that loud!! The thing that annoyed me was when I was driving in town below 3500rpm it was just too loud and obnoxious. On the other hand.....WOT sounds very nice.

I have the bypass pipes too. I get compliments all the time. Mine is a weekend driver and I'm 47 and never get sick of the awesome growl.
