Definitely better flow....says the butt dyno....if I had to put a number...I'd say 20% increase in sound at WOT with no drone and couple 200 cell with fisterd's...still no drone but great sound at WOT

Yes, I'm running the bone stock exhaust. I've been on the fence for a long time about switching to an aftermarket exhaust system but I have stayed with the stock system.

The main reason I am hesitant to switch is that I really like to press hard on the loud pedal every chance I get and the way I see it is why switch to a louder exhaust system and draw more attention to myself every time I nail the throttle. The stock exhaust is far too quiet but it does help you to fly under the radar, at least as far as the sound goes.

I have stock muffler with fisterD hack and I am tired of my stock cats going dead, I am also considering high flow 200's, and am curious of the result with stock mufflers.

Yes, I'm running Fisterd's + 200cell + intake.
With just the 200 cells + stock makes it slightly louder along with more flow.
with the 200 cells + fisterd's...still somewhat stealth but WOT it's pretty loud BUT no drone.
with the 200 cells + fisterd's + intake...past 4k rpm's....people know your coming but still no drone.
I've had stock headers+stock cats + afterhours before.....my current setup is still way more quiet and no drone
You can't beat stock to fly under the radar though....

I found another on youtube, just search PSE with 200 Cell cats, you will find a white carrera with a good sound clip. However, the best sounds come when the car is moving and the throttle is dropped to the floor...

while we are at it, what about cat bypass alltogether, did anyone manage to get these to work without having any check engine light (CEL) coming up ?

I don't have emission check here in florida, so if I can save money and weight at the same time

super easy to install all exhaust related mods

simply lay down on the ground and you can remove all you want from there, not even a need to jack the car up. It IS easier to remove the muffler if you remove the wheels and I'd advise you to do so. But minimum tool required and easy. It is time consumming because space is limited so count 2 or 3 hours for any of the job muffler or cats

philoo, that would be true if your car is new but if not, then you will have to deal with a bunch of rusted bolts that need to be cut or heated which might be easy for some of us but not necessarily for a newbie.

The other issue is the question of legality in California for smog tests. My guess is that they are not. If the tech is savvy, he can tell they are not stock and I don't think Fabspeed has a CARB cert. You might get by with them but you pays your money and takes your chances.

I opted for the Speed Tech X-Pipe with the high flow 200 cell cats. I already had the Fister D Stage III Titanium mufflers. I could not be happier with the sound It seems to me that when I added the Speed Tech X-Pipe and high flow cats, the sound comes out sooooo smooooth Like SILK Passed smog two months ago with flying colors
