OK guys I have finally found an inexpensive fix for my 2002 996 with those scratched painted seat backs. I finally found the perfect color match for my gray colored seat backs. I ordered a can of plastic, vinyl, and carpet dye from Detail King. The gray is carbon gray #3273. Attached is a picture, look and you will see the deap scratches that were black. I will take some time later to sand the scratches and redo it again for a better look. The glare is from lighting not the paint. I am very pleased and it only cost me $11.95 plus shipping for a 11.25 oz spray can. You will thank me for this if your seat backs need touching up!

Attention: Do not try to sand these scratches! The plastic will not sand out smooth!
