Default I guess I'll be putting the winter tires on a little early...

I was hoping to make it until the end of the month, but we got about 4-inches of snow last night and it's still coming down hard today. I guess I'll be putting on the winter tires today or tomorrow!

That's early Dennis isn't it? Bet it doesn't stick around very long. I figure another couple of weeks yet before I need to mount my winter sneakers.

It's a little early, but not too much. The traditional wisdom around here is that the winter tires should be mounted on October 15th and removed on May 15th.

I'm going down to the Colorado Avalanche home opener tonight - I guess we'll be taking the Allroad instead of the C4S! The Allroad is already riding on winter tires.

100 miles east of you. Not a cloud in the sky, 80. Perfect day.

Up here in Canada.... Where it's supposed to be cold... it's 77F with nary a cloud. Forecast for tomorrow 81F...

That being said the snow tires are in the garage and waiting to be swapped.

I was in Alaska most of the week and it was very pleasant there - low 60s and sunny!

I ordered snow tires and wheels this week, but don't expect to put them on until close to Christmas... mid-70s and sunny here today in NC.

About 4 hours. Beech mtn is in the west of NC and we're in the east. I was actually out there a couple of weeks ago to drive the tail of the dragon and the blue ridge parkway.

Cant believe how nice the weather is up her in the Midwest. Gives me time to run the P Car a bit more before putting it to rest for the winter. Good thing I dont have a hard top, otherwise I would probably be spending some $$ on winter rims/tires.

maybe next year.....
