pics?
C'mon guys, the damn thing is still in the shop, I promise to take some pics this weekend and post. By the way the indy called me today to let me know the AOS was leaking too, sure hope I'm not getting hosed on this deal. They found a number of minor things to take care of, and without having the benefit of ownership history myself I'm having to take them at their word.
Supposed to bring home the car this weekend, pics after that I promise!

if i were you i would get a list of what "various" items they are repairing. research parts prices and make sure your not getting screwed around on huge markups. communicate with the shop so they know you are aware of what you will be charged for the said parts.... if you have unlimited funds and don't care then i guess disregard what i said.
if they're doing the AOS i believe the engine needs to be dropped and i would at the very least replace the RMS and think hard about the IMS upgrade for resale purposes.

Porsche mileage between clutches seems vary considerably. I've had one clutch replacement on my 996 in 107K miles.
I drove my 1993 Isuzu Trooper for 252,000 miles before I sold it, and it was still going strong on the original clutch!

I bought my current Porsche with 35k miles and don't really know how the 2 previous owners drove it, but at 57k miles currently, I don't notice any unusual clutch wear...yet. My 60' Bugeye Sprite couldn't get much more than 25k miles before a new clutch was required.
