Default got room for one more noob?

Got bit by the bug back in 07 but had to delay/postpone getting a P-car till now. Finally found one: 02 996 C2 cab (Arctic Silver with Metropol Blue interior), tip, well optioned from the factory plus a few aftermarket goodies.

Seller (who manages a speed shop) also modded the exhaust and airbox for free plus service credits for future work at their shop.

Enough with the chatter, on to the pics (want to be on the good side of the pic ho's)

Nice I like your wheels. The blue interior is a matter of taste but looks like the car is in great shape. The service credits is a nice perk.

Congrats and give us your impressions of the car once you have had a chance to drive it a bit!

Very nice car. I have always liked the arctic silver/Metropolitan blue combination on the 996. I wanted one myself. What kind of exhaust is on it? Enjoy.

I was ambivalent about them earlier but getting to like them more. Black was my preference but this shade of blue actually looks MORE black most of the time Future service credits was indeed icing on the cake.

Finalized purchase 2 weeks ago but had to take a trip overseas so I delayed delivery of the car. Flew in to LAX last 26DEC and seller offered to pick me up at the airport to officially hand over the car to me. The 120-mile drive home was pure bliss and I am still grinning ear-to-ear.

I am predominantly a motorcycle guy (I have a Hayabusa which feeds my need for speed) so I can appreciate handling and acceleration. This car did not disappoint very pleasantly surprised at how quickly it gets to "oh shat" speeds

I concur The seller's shop did their in-house version of Fister D's mod to the factory exhaust....no drone in the cab, not incessant, nice snarl when I hit the GO PEDAL.

THANKS ALL for the welcome and compliments.
