The ride with the 19's is very harsh...not comfortable at all on a road trip lasting more than 3 hours. You feel every road imperfection and the steering is moving all the time.

Hey Aben,
I don't mean to hijack this thread but could you tell where did you get that big gray Porsche emblem on the side done? Is that vinyl or paint? I like it, very neat would look great on my dark green 911.

thanks

These are pretty inexpensive, but I like them & they're very easy to clean. I've been thinking about powdercoating the turbo twists black as an extra set (maybe even sell them).

Hi Airrik,

A buddy of mine bought a plotter and had some silver vinyl. So we decided to grab the PORSCHE logo and print it out in numerous sizes to view the quality. The pictures i added are for his portfolio as he started a side business.

My track/AX wheels are Sport Classic II's. They have a 993 part number.

I stayed pretty "oem", ..with "TurboTwist", (on a 996 C4, gen 2).

..but, my first try, with the real hollow ex-Turbo OEM (ET45 on rear) did stick out, so, since that picture, I shifted to non oem, and got non-hollow (but same design), with ET on rears, that fit narrow body.

Looking through all of these pictures, it seems like black is the hot look. It's definitely more aggressive.

I'm not sure what color to get. I'm definately leaning VE Innsbruck, but can't decide on black or silver.

Any opinions?

Not to hijack, but what is the name for the style of wheels of your "old" wheels? (the 5 spoke ones) I'm trying to find a decent used set for my dad's 986.
