I'm on the east coast - DC/Baltimore area.

But I have upcoming travel plans to the west coast, and family and friends in Texas, the midwest, and the rockies. So I am happy to travel anywhere for the right car at the right price (and after a clean PPI).

Good luck as I have been hunting for a while also. Looking for a 99 thru 2002 Silver/black cab C2 with a manual shift. I have found a lot of cars, but try getting someone to respond thru autotrader or cars.com after you mention a PPI is tuff. Trying to get one with miles under 60k for 24k is a challenge, so if anyone has something PM me.

Agreed, Zenski. The auto trader and cars.com ads are weird, as many don't have phone numbers and many don't respond to emails.

I'm looking also at certain eBay auctions and contacting sellers about arranging a PPI. There was a recent auction for a99 coupe that *appeared* to be clean (obviously there's no way to know before the PPI) and it was a no reserve auction but no body bid the $14K starting bid....
