Is the cabriolet windscreen worth it?

When the hardtop comes off my cab the windscreen goes on. If I want the air circulation it flips down, but I seldom use that option.
By the way, Suncoast Porsche sells them brand new for $259 which is less than most of the used ones you find on eBay.

I am still considering buying one from a poster on another thread but it all depends on his asking price. If he does me a sweet deal then I will buy it. If not then I guess the wind will have to blow my hair and i keep my collar up lol. Thanks for the info re Suncoast price on both threads.

Get one. They are totally worth it. I drive with my top down all winter long on nice days. There would be no way I could do that without the windstop- it would be too cold. Besides, it cuts down the noise in the car a fair bit when up. If I want a full hair-blowing experience, I simply put it down. My wife thanks me for keeping it up...

I like the windscreen, but I find that I am taking it in and out too frequently to make room for the kids in the back seat.
An interesting side note: I find that the windscreen is *almost* as effective when it is in place, but "folded down" flat. Just the horizontal portion over the back seats has a decent effect on reducing air buffeting coming from behind. So, if you don't want to feel like you are under a sunroof, you can leave the windscreen folded down.
But for the love of god, don't drive around with the top down and the windows up.

I am over 6 feet tall....if i install the windscreen....my chest and knees are against the steering wheel....
I like the "quiet" part...but rarely use it....I wish the installation holes were further back.....I would leave it permanently....

I just ordered one of these from Suncoast (thanks for the tip Dharn55!). I didn't think about it restricting leg room though. I usually have the drivers seat as far back as it will go, will the wind deflector not let that happen?

I see the wind deflector mounts in the sides at my back seat. How far forward of the mounting holes does the windscreen come? In the up? and down position?
Thank you very much!!
