First flat in ~18 yrs.
I have a $180 tool bit that my wife got me.
She brought it home in the tread of her 10k mile old original Outback tire. I could have patched it but she drove on it. Far enough to make a dark black line in the sidewall. So take no chances and had tire store mount a new one. She did tell me at dinner that "That light that comes on when we mount the snows came on today." TPS light.
