Is it too early to start a winter wheel thread?
Found a great deal locally on craigslist and I am glad to be ready for my first winter with my 996. Who knows, Minnesota winter could start anytime.

I think they stick out too far
Kidding aside, they look great.

I use Sport Techno replicas for my winter wheels, and I'm very pleased with them.

I bought four of those in 17" with Continental DWS tires from Tire Rack nearly two years ago; they have held up well, easy to clean. However, ninety per cent of the time I drive like this grandma:

These are exclusive to Tire Rack. I think I paid north of $1400.00 for the set with Blizzak winter tires for the C4S last season. Same tire size as the C2.
Very happy with the wheels, affordable and they look fine. No so happy with the Blizzaks, they are not N spec and I notice the difference from the N spec Pirelli snow sports on the C2. But the snow sports weren't available when I was purchasing.
