Default 03 "sports exhaust system"

hi,
on page 123 of my owners manual it mentions a rocker switch for turning on/off
this function. Does anyone know about this? it must have been an option; the manual isn't explicit whether standard or option.

just curious about this, cool or lame? I've read a lot about the 991 having different exhaust modes. I never realized our cars had this, too.
thx

PSE is an option. I put one on my car but left off the vacuum hoses and electronics as many do.

I have one. It's my favorite button.
It's nice to be able to tone it down/up when its appropriate.

^^^ ditto^^^ my favorite button. At about 3k rpm the sound is deep and throaty. It was about a $3k option and worth every penny IMO

Option, very cool and desirable. If you don't have it, you can get Fister cans, or Gundo Hack for about $300 and get a very similar sound all the time.
