Default New owner question

I love my new to me 2000 911 C4!

Just getting to know it. But I found a part in my driveway. Not even sure it's from my cr. any help would be appreciated.

looks like the IMS bearing safe guard, when these fall out the bearing is next

Looks like an old school coil spring spacer. My Monte Carlo had them when I bought it, because the PO didn't want to replace the sagging coils.

Welcome to Rennlist, where the answers are plentiful and sarcasm is free.

I dont recognise the part, but if it is from your car is looks like a rubber block that could be used to keep fuel or brake lines in place. Usually combined with a metal strap of some sort. Not a major concern, but keep it on hand and show your mechanic at the next visit
