Question Aero Kit Side Skirt Attachment

I'm installing an aero kit (OEM parts) to my 99 996 and for the life of me can not see how the bottom of the side skirts mount to the underside. I have the metal clips that attach to the flange on the underside.

Could someone with an aero kit take a picture of bottom attachment and post?

Thanks,
David

Thanks !
I would still like a photo of the underside attachment. The TSB is not clear.

I don't have a picture but I have mounted side skirts on my 2002 996. The clips you get are U-shaped with a little extra plate with a hole in it as far as I can remember. The circular hole in each clip is where the skirt is skrewed to the clip. If you take a clip and hold it against one of the holes in the skirt you can pretty much see how these clips should be mounted. The clips should be mounted with the "U" on the flange that runs under the car on each side. The flange is slightly bent on the top. The clips should be mounted so that the two locking pins in the "U" locks on that bent top!

Does this help you understand?

Please don't post TSBs taken directly from RennTech.org - thank you.

MY2002 and later are different side skirts and attaching procedure.

The proper way to attach sideskirts on a pre-2002 model is drilling holes to attach and epoxying them in place. It is a 24 hour period for the epoxy to dry and they must be held firmly in place (clamps and tape) during that time (or they will look like crap).
