2003 996 For sale at Univ. Audi
My near-perfect, overly maintained 2003 996 is for sale through University Audi, Lynwood, WA for only about $27k -- for what should be a $38k car.
I have no skin in the game. But this is a great deal on a very good car for the right person.
Arctic Silver/Metropol Blue, Full leather interior.
Includes:
LNE bearing & new clutch assembly (removed IMS bearing seemed perfect)
New RMS updated at the same time -- never leaked before or after
Preventative replacement of the water pump
Almost new PS2's
Hard top
PSM
Sprint Booster
Built in Escort SRX radar detector & laser 'shifter'. Installed in stealth mode -- module hidden; all you can see is an LED in the trim around the emergency flasher button.
Factory sport exhaust
Full leather
Carpets are virtually new. I removed them at 10k miles and used Lloyds mats since then.
The car has been under my car, garaged and treated in an adult fashion since I bought it as a CPO w/10k miles in 2006.
No dents, scratches, abuse....damn near perfect.
If you want a 996. There isn't a better deal for a car in excellent condition. Get it before it's abused by lookers.
Will be cleaning out the garage & posting a list of parts/accessories.

The competitive book value is unfortunately low on these cars. They (The Dealer)dont have the investment in time and care that you do. To them it is just a number and it is very old in the car business so they just want to move it. As long as they can make some profit on the trade they just need to get rid of it as fast as possible. Dont take it personal, these are great cars for what the market price is and anyone looking to buy a 996 its a buyers market. You had your reason for selling it so try not to look back, enjoy your new car and there is a good chance you will be back.

IMO, pretty disappointing presentation by the dealer ... one pic and minimal description. This car deserves better, especially if they expect anyone who isn't local to come take a look at it. Really doesn't make much sense, considering how easy it is to shoot and post 30 - 40 pics.

Interesting. Either of two browsers, I see one pic. Different page, maybe?

I just recently sold my 01 cab for 25k. This is a good deal. Would be good to show some close ups of the canvas top, rear window and description of condition. Kept inside or out, 10 year old top is a ten year old top.

$27K seems like a fair price.
In this price point, you're almost into 997 territory. Anyone shopping 7-10 year old Porsche's is going to want a 997 over a 996. This simply just drives the prices down on the 996s
I count 20 pics as well.
