Default Gt3 tek spoiler

Added a gt3 tek front spoiler. Next to car wash so not a pretty background. Fit well. Minimal work to install.

I think it was about $300 to buy and $250 to prep and paint. It requires a special flex additive to the paint. They did a good job matching the paint. I took it to a bumper repair place called Recon in Las Vegas.

One more pic. I don't know why it appears so large when I post.

I bought that spoiler and never put it on. My car is black and I was thinking of leaving natural. My car is also narrow body. And, I like the 996 lights so I'd leave those alone.

Still, like your car. Can you try and post a PIC showing entire side and other angles? I am either going to put mine on or sell it to someone on here.

Thanks in advance,

JKC

OK, now I am looking... You have full length PICs, they are just huge. Is the tail just the popped up spoiler is did you do something there as well?

Thanks,

JKC

Finally, I am stupid today. Sorry. Popped up tail.

Like the car and you really have me thinking. I switched my side indicators out to clear but your yellows look slick and clean... As does the rest of your car.

Thanks for the post.

Thanks. No, I just had the spoiler up for some reason in the rear.

As you can see, the yellow shows when lights are on but black when off.
I used a translucent tint to cover it....I think it was called night shades for tinting tail lights.

I do not know why the picture shows up so huge when I attach it.

Looks great. Early C2's really benefit from some subtle aero styling. They look kind of flat without it for some reason. Are you planning on side kits next ?

looks good I'm considering the entire GT3 Tek splitter kit (Front, side skirts, and rear skirt) to add some front downforce when I eventually add a fixed wing (I think 996 MK2 GT3) also to round out the entire look of the car. I need my hood resprayed after a recent incident in my garage, so I might as well make the car a little more aggressive while I'm at it.

GT3 Tek sounds good, since it's all Polyurethane rather than Fiberglass, much more flexible to resist damage. Was the fit really good? no modification neccessary?

Fit was excellent. No modification was necessary. I have a set of side skirts but not yet sure if I want to do it. The side skirts are not polyurethane but fiberglass that I got off a wrecked 996.

The lip is polyurethane and was actually folded in half when I got it. Once installed it feels very solid.

I like this lip. Was this the aero2 lip or the GT3 front lip? It looks like the aero lip but I want to confirm. I am looking at ordering the aero lip for my car and was searching for some pics.

Thanks

It is the GT3 front lip. Very good fit. It is so flexible that it came folded in two in the box. So issues since installed. Make sure it is painted with a flex additive.
