Thumbs up

Since this is already hijacked, that 690 will be my next Thumper, had a KLR, I like the riding style, but needed more go...

Alpine003, I have an older Aprilia Falco with Penske/Traxxion Dynamics suspension, OZ wheels, a little CF, very nice ride, that MV would be sweet, for 2 wheels, anything Italian!

Just listed my car for sale in the for sale ads. Any member on here on the West Coast interested, I'll give a good deal to a member, and pay for shipping from Hawaii.

I can relate to what you're feeling with your car. My C4S was very well-sorted in the suspension department with plans of tracking it. However, that whole "free time" thing is scarce for me and the track-oriented suspension on the street was quite harsh and sucked a lot of the fun out of driving the car for me. On top of that, whenever the weather was bad, I just drove my truck, and when the weather was nice I wanted to ride my motorcycles!

However, for me, after going a few months without a car I realized how much I do like having one, so I ended up buying another 996 to fill the hole in my soul. But yeah, I can see how it just wouldn't be all that great having a fun, fast car in HI. If I lived there I'd probably have a lifted Toyota and a couple adventure bikes myself.

Bummer you are selling such a nice car! Good luck on the bike and keep the shiny side up.

I have an Aprilia Falco SL1000R with SL Carbon exhaust, FP chip, mille swingarm as well. Love the bike... but hate riding these days since there are too many distracted drivers.

Cheers,
-Kalyan

The diatracted drivers were always there, you are just getting older.

I don't remember smartphones and in-car NAV/infotainment systems in the 90's. But yeah I am getting older as well since now I actually have to think about taking my bike 160+mph on the highway unlike when I was younger and dumber...
