Default Emergency trunk unlock

Left lights on overnight. Dead battery.

Followed instructions to pop trunk lid by hooking jumpers to connector in fuse box/door jamb.

Alarm sounds. I turn key to lock and unlock door but alarm stays on.

Front lid will NOT unlock.

Any ideas.

Cheers,

You must have a pulse type charger. Same thing happened to a budy of mine. Get a pair of jumper cables and use another car's battery.

Wait a bit, maybe the alarm will reset itself then try to unlocket with the key.

I think you leave the key in the door lock while you jump the fuse box to unlock the trunk. That may keep the alarm from going off.

Tried that earlier to no avail. Letting the alarm reset worked though.

Guess I just wasn't leaving it long enough! (Worried about my poor neighbors ears on a Sunday morning!!)

Thanks again!!
