Started a new thread to show my eBay LED taillights. As I have an early build car without the Litronics, I wanted to update the rear and get rid of the old amber turn indicators.

With used OEM clears going for well over $300 a pair, I decided on the eBay style ones for just under $300, including shipping.

I took the pictures mid-day, so I have some glare with the garage door opened. I took some inside with the lights on to better show he illumination of the LED's.

Looks good. Are those smoked? More photos when you can please. A shot as dusk or low light would be great.

Night and day! Looks good. So when did Porsche stopped putting those amber tail lights? Just earlier models only came with hose?

If we get some decent weather, I'll try to get some more pics at dusk or less reflective light. These are the "smoked" version and look darker than the pictures make them out to be.

Yes, I'm very happy with them and the quality seems decent, equal to the depo brand LED's I put on my Boxster.

I do like them, I'm just not sure if I'd fit them to my own car. They freshen up the rear of your car loads.

Actually i was surprised that our cars come with incandescent third brake lights when cars 1/3rd the cost were being equipped with LED's. i agree and OP should match his led tails and get the led 3rd brake light which comes in clear, red, and smoked, whichever his personal preference is.

The 3rd brake light LEDs are on the list, just trying to prioritize my upgrades. I have an entire black leather interior on the way to replace the beige, but that's another thread
