Default Best tires for 03 Targa...

Some advice needed from 996 owners! A PCA friend has a beautiful 03 Targa and need to purchase new tires. What are you guys using? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

Can't go wrong with Michelin PS2. Depending on his wheel size (and/or tolerance for not getting the sizing exactly right) Super Sports are really popular as well.

I can't see the tires being any different than what you have on your car. Sizes would different of course.

Hi, I use Hankook Evo V12 very good tire and less than Michelin, also I noticed you are in Vancouver area, if you are tire shopping try Discount tire in Bellingham Wa the savings is worth the trip and they are very good to deal with.

Check out the surveys on Tire Rack. They've never steered me wrong. I personally have Vrdenstein winter tires on 17" wheels, and just installed new Potenza S04s on new OZ Alleggeritas from Tire Rack. I am personally a huge fan of Bridgestone Potenzas and have put them on at least 10 cars over the years, I find them to offer Michelin performance at a much lower price.

Thanks guys. Good data. I had PS2 and Super Sports on my last C2S and then Potenzas on the TT. I really have like the Potenza and I believe they are less expensive.

I'll pass on the data. Tx again.
