Default Add 12 HP with this?

I have the Fabspeed performance package on my '99 C4 and I asked them why I only have 1 air inlet but they show 2 on their website. They said they redesigned it 8 months ago with the dual inlet and it added an additional 12 HP.
Is this possible?

Without seeing the dyno sheet with RPM, Air Flow and BSFC numbers its hard to say where they picked up the 12hp...

for example.. Its possible they gained 12 hp over stock at 3700 rpm, but who cares!! What does it make over peak, and more importantly, what is the torque curve and increase in those numbers....

Yup. I really want one of those, regardless of how many MAFs I'd have to feed it. That is the most pornographic car part I've seen in decades.

You shouldn't have to put any MAF in it other than your OEM. We use dry filters now

Also you guys are forgetting the most important part.. THE SOUND! This is one of THE best upgrades you can do for the 996/997. Regardless of if you are the type of person that will feel the difference, I guarantee you will hear it and you will love it. Seriously intoxicating.

I got CEL code P1276 a couple of times which indicates weak CO2 sensors, then I had to change my gas cap during an emissions check because the seal was cracked and the CEL has remained off ever since. I don’t know if it is related but I thought I would relay the information because I was assuming the CEL was related to the Fabspeed exhaust.

Would you even be able to hear it over an aftermarket exhaust though?

Lovely looking, that's for sure!!

Even without the sport cats, the Tubi-style mufflers don't need much sweetening. But that intake...damn, it's pretty.

Evan, if you need to send one out so you can get a picture of it in a 996, I'm willing to sacrifice my engine bay for the cause.
