FS: 02 996 C2 $22,500SOLD
SOLD
Purchased the car in '09 with 44k in perfect condition - not a scratch, ding or stain.
Car now has 90k, all service records back to original purchase, and receipts for all maintenance since I purchased it. The car has been well cared for and has had the following items replaced: (NEW = < 1000 mi.)
Equipped with Bose sound system w/ six CD changer. All maintenance performed at regular intervals and all service done to Porsche specifications. Tires are Advan Neova AD08 front 245's and rear 295's w/ 15mm spacers and wheels are optional 18" Porsche. Interior is black. Car was originally sold in Houston and has remained here. Clear title.
I never thought I would ever sell this car but I just purchased a 2014 370Z Nismo and the 996 sits in the garage most of the time. I decided it's pointless to have it just to have it so I decided to offer it to someone else who has always wanted to own a Porsche at a reasonable price. The best part is all the major maintenance and upgrades are done and this car should be good to go for another 50k miles!
For Rennlisters only: If I don't have to haggle over the price I will include at no additional cost:

Considering your car is very stock like, it could help if you install a regular shifter as it might not scare away potential buyers. That's the only thing I see that can turn someone away. Otherwise, great car and someone is going to be getting a good deal considering how much maintenance you've already done on this thing. It should be a buy and drive affair for the next lucky owner. If someone is scared away by a better (different?) shifter than the original, well they're in for a rude awakening, should they purchase any Porsche.
Still, I have it if they want it and they are welcome to install it although I can't imagine them wanting to keep it.

I agree and personally I would rather have the ssk but I also try to think of the general population and what one may or may not think when selling things of this nature.

I doubt your Rennlist audience cares about the shifter, but for the sake of other places you may be advertising your car, you might want to change it back to stock, then sell your B&M shifter. Function aside, that thing looks seriously out of place in the 996 interior (fugly), and might raise questions about how the car was treated on the track.
Just my opinion. GLWS!

Looks nice! There might be cheaper cars out there, but they will need thousands in deferred maintenance. Buy this one and get the nicer car for the same price in the long run!
