I bought some hollow spokes and painted them flat black because honestly they were track wheels and I didn't care so much what they looked like.

Now that I've had them on for a year or two and continue to daily drive my care I would like to make them look a bit nicer. I'm thinking either an aluminum/silver color or gloss black.

If you've painted your turbo twists (any color) can you post pics??

What color are those wheels Liceman? Is it Plastidip? I have a black convertible with banged-up wheels that need painting ...

Here are my Turbo twists painted Arctic Silver to match the body of my '02 TT. Picked up the whole set for 550.00 on CL to replace the chrome ones that came with the car. Figure I might swap back the chrome ones every few tears for a change.

My wheels were done by a local paint guy and PCA member. Originally I had set out to get a gun-metal paint finish... looks like a metallic dark silver in person. Looks great with some sun hitting them.

I think I'll end up doing a 50% tint on the windows to pull the look together.
