The Porsche Magnet works again RIP my Carrera :(
While stop too turn left yesterday a car apparently didn't see me with lights and turn signal on shm.
The Police officer told me she said her foot slipped! then the officer smiled and said onto the gas !
Any way she hit hard pushed me 30-40 feet past where I was stopped. Pretty sure the frame is bent as the roof popped on the drivers side and the qtr panel is creased against the drivers door. The drivers seat is reclined 10 degrees more than I had it set at.

Holy crap! That sux... all that said, it could have been much worse.- the car can be replaced. Good luck with the outcome.

You're upright and ambulatory. That's what matters most.
Various forms of insurance (her liability and your uninsured / underinsured motorist policies) will set the vehicle loss right. Judging from the hood damage and the high-grille damage on her car, she hit you with the brakes on, and the front suspension compressed. I presume you were stopped, or nearly so, at the time of impact.
I agree that it's probably totaled. I'd recommend buying it back from the insurance co and parting it out, if you have the garage space and inclination.

The Porsche managed really good the impact the other car is total I hope you don't have frame damage the most important thing it's that you're ok.
But man, sucks big time, if your car is not driveable anymore because someone else

Man, you can't seem the catch a break. Good luck with insurance and the outcome.
Sad thing was stupid driver error rather than something caused by things like black ice, snow storm, etc.

That is horrible. I hope no one was hurt. Is the car really done? It doesn't look too bad. But I suppose if it bent the frame there is no fixing that. If it is done, it will make a nice parts car for someone and hopefully you will be getting a new one soon with the insurance money.
My condolences and at least no one was seriously hurt.

At least your body is OK.

Your car may have died but she sure put up a fight. That other car looks like it hit a truck rather than a sports car. These cars may be small and light, but if the condition of that car is any indication, they have a little bit of Panzer in them. Wow.

Push to get the other driver's insurance to total the car. Do not turn this over to your insurance, as it will try to fix the car.
Have handy all the service/work receipts for the car so you can show the other insurance company's adjuster the car was loved.
Do not buy the car back and part it out. Take the money and run.
This parting out can be a nightmare. I lost my new (4 week old) 2008 Cayman S to an accident.
I kept the car -- not to part it out, but because the other driver's insurance wasn't enough to pay for the car out right -- with an allowance of $17000. With a salvage title I managed to sell the car at a salvage car auction for over $20K. The two buyers I guess planned on fixing the car.
Curious a month or two back I plugged in the car's VIN into a google search and believe it it or not found the car with most of its body intact (and apparently repaired though of course I do not know how well) for sale for $300.
So much for that parting out thing.
