Default Sold the C4S and bought my childhood dream car

Hi guys, after nearly two years of Porsche ownership I traded my C4S in for a car my heart fluttered for each time I saw one on the road. Posters plastered on my wall growing up as a kid, drooling over Magnum P.I.'s and Sonny Crockett's cars while growing up. It's a 1990 Ferrari 348TB (hardtop) in Rosso Corsa Red over Tan. All records since day one, 30k service performed 400 miles ago.

I've had the car for nearly two weeks now, and I truly miss having the P-Car. I'm sure one day I will be picking up a 996.1 C2 down the road. The 996 forum is my favorite forum and you guys are the best group of guys hands down. It's been fun, I will be lurking back and forth between here and ferrarichat.com.

Anyone else here own an F-Car or is considering getting one?

A pic of me and the C4S the day I traded her in:

Oh my the 512 TR was one of the cars I had a poster of . Here is one that was at the gathering last weekend. The 512 looks way better than the Testarossa IMO.

Thanks kromdom! I hear ya, you def gotta have a financial plan buying one of these, and if you are a DIYer you can save a ton of money. There are lots of tutorials on ferrarichat.com and youtube to get you through step by step from changing clutches to replacing the timing belts.

If it's doubt that's keeping you from buying one...just remember, that doubt kills dreams and that you only live once

As far as my name LOL...it's been my SN since 2003, I used to ride Yamaha sportbikes and I had a Redbul Jacket with matching helmet so the SN was inspired by that

Congrats! I Must admit that I've gone on autotrader.con and researched used F360 and F430 cars in the last year. Maybe someday...

Enjoy the new car!

I can hardly believe that you picked the Ferrari over that beautiful black Jaguar XK140 coupe next to it on the lot, or was that a Cars and Coffee meet? Ok if it was a 120 I understand.

Nicely done!

I've had the 328 and the 348 TS which was great, but I still like my 911 better! Enjoy!

Congrats. I missed the 348 train long time ago when they were at the bottom of the market so it's hard for me to swallow the inflation and get one.

Hope you find happiness in your new ride. Start saving up for that tuneup, lol.

Now if I can just scrape enoug for a Countach, I'd be set...
