Drove it back from Chicago this morning. I'm impressed by it don't get me wrong I love it but I don't think its as good a car as a comparable 911. The back seat are even less usable than a 996 due to a lack of headroom. To early to give a true report.

Still displaying MB ignorance....
There are two distinct suspension systems for those cars. The S430 and 500 came with Airmatic suspension which is as described, pretty standard air springs, easily serviced including a reputable aftermarket company with parts and support.
ABC is Active Body Control and describes a completely different system that utilizes hydraulically controlled shocks to control body motions. THESE components ARE expensive. ABC was fitted to the S600 and S55 AMG models.
The car pictured appears to be an Airmatic car and, as previously mentioned, an easy, inexpensive fix.

Yeah, back seat is a joke. I've been in the R a few times with 4 people. It's more of a necessity situation than anything else.

The F-Type Coupe looks and sounds friggin' amazing. If money wasn't an object, I'd buy the R version.
A stunner!!!!!
