Quick question to all C4S owners... Did your car come with stone guards? Bought mine 6 months ago and it did not have them. Need to replace the ones on my 997.2 and wanted to do the 996 at the same time. Called dealer and emailed my parts guy and got the same comment that there's no part number for them... Surprised but I guess it's possible. Can anyone verify this?

Mine doesn't have them. I didn't buy the car new, so it's possible that they were removed, although I doubt that is the case.

My car has almost zero stone chips in that area, which surprises me. My 993 took a beating in that same area, even beyond where the stone guards covered.

I had some made for mine. I have a c2 but the dealer told me the same thing: no part number for a 996 stone guard

No stone guards on my 04 C4S and was told by the dealer and a local clear film guy that they were not offered on the 996 series. I also have no stone chips in that area.

Have an '03 C4S, and had an '02 ten years ago. Neither had stone guards. Had a 993 C4S; don't recall that it had them.
