Default Missing center caps

I noticed last week that one of my center wheel crests was missing. Yesterday I found two more gone. At first I thought someone might be stealing them, but when I looked at the remaining one it was hanging by a thread. Strange that the glue seemed to have given up the ghost on all four wheels at once.

Not really crazy about paying $150 for 3 wheel caps. Anybody want to sell some used ones? ('02 C2 with 18" Carrera wheels.)

Southern Man,

I replaced all four of mine earlier this year and will send you 3 for $75 shipped. Text me at 913-530-3280 and I will send you a picture of the three if interested.

I have a set of 4, or just 3 sitting around if the deal falls through.

A quick comment... Do NOT buy the cheapo EBay imitations. I already made that mistake for you. They are made of a brittle type of plastic, and the little tabs break off. A waste of $20. That set from Wickedgood looks nice.

Your crests are glued on? I have to go out and check mine??

You can buy a couple sets for less than three Porsche originals. I have been lucky with the EBay imitations. YMMV

Sorry, got busy today and didn't check the site. I send the set of 4 to you shipped for $75. Please note that they are not replica center caps, and came off my car last summer. Replaced them with a new set. Nothing wrong with them, just 10 years old.

Send me a pm with your address and any questions you may have offline.

Glued on?? No, they have tabs around the edge. The OEM ones are a semi-flexible plastic. The Ebay ones are a brittle plastic. They easily break when installing them. Also, two broke at a track day... once the brakes got hot, the heat transfer caused the cheapo Ebay ones to break and fall off of the car.

That set from Wickedgood looks like a good deal.

The crests are glued on to the circular center cap and it has the tabs that snap on to the wheel.
