My 02 C2 needs a little urgent maintenance

I had both cats replaced in 2008 under the federal emissions warranty.

The left (driver) replacement cat has given up the ghost, throwing below threshold code, and I need to replace it stat - registration expires in 2 weeks and needs to pass inspection here prior to or I'll get hit with all sorts of fines.

Need a reputable inexpensive fabricator/exhaust/muffler shop in the NYC area who can replace existing cat or both cats with generic/magnaflow etc. QUICKLY. Retain existing sensors of course

Ideally someone who can also do the 2 drive cycles and take care of the inspection as well.

Any recommendations?

(federal emissions warranty is on the original cats only to my knowledge (or all cats within a 10 year period from new so I don't think a dealer can help)

Great - when you did the magnaflows did you have to do anything special in terms of fabrication or did they bolt right on? how about the sensor bungs?

DIRECT BOLT ON, PLUG-AND-PLAY, no fabwork or welding needed at all. Yes, also have bungs for sensors. NOTE: 5 yr/50K mile warranty valid only if done by a shop (will need to mail warranty card + sales receipt for cats)

I am NOT sure if there are "authroized" installers per se ...any muffler shop should be fine (shop needs to sign a portion of warranty card)#
