Default Yearly oil and filter change...

I took some pics of my 11 month old oil draining out today, along with the magnetic drain plug, and a cut open filter element ( I know I need to upgrade to the spin on/off from JR.).I couldn't believe that there were no ferrous or plastic debris anywhere on the filter, absolutely clean. Even my oil drain plug had hardly any material that my eyes could detect. Drove only 2,799 miles since last oil change. Have documented 14 oil/filter changes from new, averaged 2,359 mi. between oil changes in 72,200 miles. Still on OEM IMSB and water pump. My 911 runs like a clock!

I think it is cool how you get the oil to run uphill

That's the hardest part. Somehow the pic inverted.

It's tough on the roof Jason, but works pretty well if you put a towel down first.

I thought it looked clean as well coming out. I didn't drive it much last year especially after severing my Achilles tendon.

Are those big jugs 4 or 5 quart?
Also, where do you get those big waste oil containers?

I've never seen the Castrol Edge (Syntec) 5w 40 in 5 quart jugs, but they usually give you the equivalent sale price on the one quart size. I just changed mine and it looked similar to the photos above, but I drove just under 3000 miles since the last change. The magnetic drain plug was nearly spotless.
